A memorial service for Walter W. Wilson, 91, of Iron City, Ga., will be held on Monday, Jan. 24, at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral in Donalsonville, Ga., with the Rev. Gary Aslin officiating.

Mr. Wilson was born in Wellborn, Fla., on March 10, 1919, and died Jan. 17, 2011, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville. He was a member of Iron City Baptist Church, served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a personnel officer for NASA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Annie Bell Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Rose Wilson, and numerous friends and cousins.
