Graveside services for Jarold “Pete” King, 80, of Colquitt, Ga., were held on Monday, Jan. 10, at Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery on Highway 91 with the Rev. James Scarborough officiating.

Mr. King was born on Nov. 28, 1930, and died Jan. 8, 2011, at his residence. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford King and Mary Nancy Bush King, and one brother, Garland King.

He is survived by two brothers, Clifford “Guyte” King of Colquitt and John King of Fort Gaines, Ga.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
