Jasmine Wade

Funeral services for Jasmine Nichole Wade, 19, of Decatur County, were held Jan. 9, 2011, at St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Samuel Phillips officiating.

Interment followed in the church cemetery with Robert Brown Sr., Michael Brown, Timothy Hodges Brown, Robert Brown Jr., Amos Wade, Admiral Wade Jr., Daemari Wade and Christopher Brown acting as pallbearers.

Miss Wade was born Feb. 19, 1991, to Mary Frances Wade and the late Robert Brown Sr. She died in Mitchell County on Jan. 2, 2011.

She received her education at Lillian E. Williams Elementary and Bainbridge High School. She was attending Bainbridge College to become a medical assistant and was employed at McDonald’s Restaurant in Bainbridge.

She is survived by her father, Robert Brown Sr.; grandparents, Admiral Sr. and Doretha Wade; six brothers;, Daemari Wade Sr. of Quincy, Fla., Robert Brown Jr., Michael Brown, Timothy Hodges Brown, Sylvester Hodges Brown and Christopher Brown, all of Fowlstown, Ga.; four sisters, Teresa Brown, Sheila Brown, both of Bainbridge, Annie Margaret Brown of Fowlstown, and Teresa Brown of Havana, Fla.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
