Services for Dorothy Nell “Dot” Cloud, 71, of Brinson, Ga., will be held at Cox-Ware Funeral Home at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5, with the Revs. DeWitt Phillips and Newton Cranford officiating.

Interment will be at Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Cloud was born in Decatur County, Ga., on Oct. 1, 1939, and died Jan. 1, 2011, at her residence. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Cloud; a son, DeWitt Cloud; a brother, Edward Kennedy; two sisters, Alma Ezell and Carolyn West, and by her parents, Hazel Nora (Brock) and Bert Kennedy.

She is survived by five daughters, Debra Knight of Blakely, Ga., Sandra DeLeon of Brinson, Wanda McMillian of Tampa, Fla., Alice Cloud of Colquitt, Ga., and Betty Day of Bainbridge, Ga.; a son, George Cloud of Brinson; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
