Services for Mary Sullivan Wright, 91, of Whigham, Ga., were held Friday, Dec. 31, at Whigham United Methodist Church with the Revs. Garth Duke-Burton and Robert Greene officiating.
Interment is private in Woodlawn Cemetery in Whigham with Spencer Duncan, Cecil Gibbs, Emmett Brock, Cuy Harrell III, Robbie Palmer and Gary Wright acting as pallbearers.
Mrs. Wright was born on Oct. 18, 1919, in Bainbridge, Ga., to the late William Ivey Sullivan and Mary Ella Glass Sullivan. She died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, in Whigham.
She married Bert R. Wright June 4, 1949, at the Attapulgus, Ga. Methodist parsonage and their marriage was an example to their nieces and nephews of love and devotion that lasted throughout their marriage until their deaths.
She was a banker with Citizens Bank and Trust Company of Bainbridge, and a member of Whigham United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, parents; sons, Ben R. Wright and Bert R. Wright; a brother, William K. Sullivan; sisters, Clyde Mandeville, Doris Moore and Janie B. Harrell.
Survivors include nieces, Alona W. McNeill of Havana, Fla., Rosa Doherty of Malibu, Calif., Kathy Garrard of Wiggins, Miss., Lynn Barnhart of Clinton, Okla., Ellen Jones of Pace, Fla., Janice Jackson of Lake City, Fla., Patricia Starlings of Climax, Ga., and Carolyn Spears of Nashville, Tenn.; nephews, Jim Sullivan of Mexico Beach, Fla., Billy Harrell of Whigham, Richard Wright of Anchorage, Alaska, L. Gary Wright of Monticello, Fla., Jimmy Wright of West Memphis, Ark., and Ben Wright of Olive Branch, Miss.

Clark Funeral Home in Cairo, Ga., was in charge of the arrangements.
