Amos Frazier

A memorial service for Amos Frazier, 76, of Bainbridge, Ga., will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Masonic Rites.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Mr. Frazier was born July 28, 1934, in Oscaloosa, Ky., the son of Delbert Frazier and Mary Banks Frazier, and died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at Memorial Hospital. He was a graduate of Whitesburg, Ky. High School, Class of 1954, and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a truck driver for Branch Motor Express and a member of Faceville Masonic Lodge. He loved fishing, playing music, and spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Frazier was preceded in death by his brother, Aaron Frazier; and his sisters, Jeanette Cornett and Vessie Sanders.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Leta Frazier of Bainbridge; his two daughters, Donna Harber and her husband, Cliff, of Coshocton, Ohio, and Cassie Weatherhead and her husband, Tom, of Orient, Ohio; his sisters, Bernice Corwin and Linda Williams, both of Delaware, Ohio; his five grandchildren, Heidi, Jarrod, Amos, Holly and Tommy; and his eight great-grandchildren, Whitley, Garrett, Aiden, Blaine, Arial, Tyler, Brooke and Lydia.
Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
