Graveside services for Johnny C. “Sleepy” Nundra, 56, of Bainbridge, were held at Sherman Williams Cemetery in Attapulgus, Ga., on Jan. 6 with the Rev. TaMorris Baulkman officiating.

Mr. Nundra was born Feb. 9, 1954, in Terrell County, Ga., and died Dec. 24, 2010, at the home of his sister in Bainbridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny C. Nundra Sr. and Annie Laura Nundra; two sisters, Artie Bell Nundra and Johnnie Bell Thomas; two brothers, Walter Lee Nundra and Willie James Williams.

Survivors include one sister, Annie Bell Williams of Bainbridge; one brother, Bobby Lee Nundra of South Carolina; a devoted friend, Brenda Scott of Bainbridge; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
