Funeral services for Terry Lee Adams, 53, of Southport, Fla., will be held Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Boomer officiating.

Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery with Brandon Hornsby, Jake Adams, Ace Adams, Richard Adams Jr., Danny McLendon and Gerald Worthy acting as casketbearers.

Mr. Adams was born in Jacksonville, Fla., on March 21, 1957. He died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Fla. He was self-employed as a sheet rocker. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Adams; two sisters, Julie and Paula Adams, and a brother, Eddie Adams.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Jacqueline Adams of Donalsonville, Ga.; his wife, April Peoples of Panama City; two sons, Lee Adams and Sam Adams of Panama City; two daughters, Julie Adams of Dothan, Ala., and Layla Peoples of Panama City; five brothers, Johnny Adams, Rusty Adams and Mike Adams all of Donalsonville, and Ricky Adams and Paul Adams Jr. of Bainbridge, Ga.; two sisters, Babs Karacic and Jackie McLendon of Donalsonville; and three grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
