Two periodontists and periodontal lab manager discussed treatment solutions for edentulous, which are for patients who have lost teeth, during a Nov. 12 seminar held at Bainbridge College. From the left, Joe Coursey, and Drs. John B. Miller and Daniel Pittman talked about a viable and cost-effective implant-based solution. Drs. Miller and Pittman received their Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Coursey is the managing partner at Russellville Dental Laboratory in Russellville, Ky. The implant department at Coursey’s lab restores hundreds of implant cases each year as well as assisting and testing in numerous implant manufacturers. Participants at the seminar represented three states.
