Melissa Jo Pipkin of Dothan, Ala., daughter of Glen and Rhonda Pipkin of Dothan and Rohebeth, Ala., exchanged wedding vows with Evan Rich Barber, son of Ronald and Karan Barber of Graceville, Fla.

The wedding was held in Columbus, Ga., in a small family ceremony on Oct. 22.

The bride is the granddaughter of Runette Dionne and Richard Lynch and of Augusta Cunningham and Lyn Pipkin Sr., all deceased.

The groom is the grandson of Mickey Karan Folds, Hildred Rich Barber and E. Harold Barber, all of Bainbridge, Ga., and the late William Calvin White.

The newlyweds are now making their home in Columbus where Lt. Barber is stationed at Fort Benning, Ga.
