Funeral services for Willie “Cookie Pie” Kendrick, 53, of Bainbridge, were held Sunday, Oct. 31, at Greater Macedonia M.B. Church in Bainbridge with Pastor Eric Collins officiating.

Pallbearers were Bradley Snell, Chris Wright, Michael Kendrick, Jimmy Kendrick Jr., Brandon Snell and Calvin Kendrick.

Mr. Kendrick was born Oct. 22, 1947, in Cyrene, Ga., and died Oct. 27, 2010, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lucy Mae Kendrick.

Survivors include his wife, Carrie B. Kendrick; seven Godchildren, Dr. Lisa Smart of Climax, Leroy Sasser, Florine Johnson, William Johnson, Katie Johnson, Thomas Johnson Jr. and Tony Moore, all of Bainbridge; sister, Eva Snell Gordon of Bainbridge; and two brothers, Leroy Kendrick Sr. and Jimmy L. Kendrick, both of Bainbridge.

Jacobs Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
