Cars, barbecue and fun Saturday

Classic cars lined up along one side of the Earle May Boat Basin was one of the entertaining draws associated with the American Bass Anglers’ Weekend Series fishing tournament held this past weekend. Other draws included community groups’ booths, food vendors, inflatable rides for kids and of course, sunny weather
Passersby got to sample barbecue dishes from some of the teams entered in the American Bass Anglers barbecue cookoff held this weekend in the Boat Basin. Both professional and amateur barbecue teams were judged on their sauces, chicken, ribs, pork, brisket and desserts, with entrants competing for cash prizes and points in the ABA BBQ Cookoff Tour.
