• Magnolia M.B. Church—The church, located at 1210 Center St., will have its men’s and women’s day program on Sunday, Oct. 3, beginning at 3 p.m. Ministers Constance Hunter and John Gardner are the speakers.

• Beulah Thomas Baptist Church—The church, located on Woodhull Road, will hold a revival starting Sunday, Oct. 3, with 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. services, and continuing to Wednesday, Oct. 6, with services at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

• Nelson Chapel AME Church—The church, located at 640 Hall St., will be open every Wednesday beginning Oct. 6 and lasting until Oct. 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Rev. James A. Platt will be available to pray for you.

• First United Methodist Church—The church will hold its Keenagers on Wednesday, Oct. 6, at noon at the J.O. Smith Building. The program will be presented by the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office. An “autumn feast” will also be served. The cost is $3 and to RSVP, please call 246-1864.

• Mount Pleasant Baptist Church—The church will hold its camp meeting tent revival one mile south of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Vada beginning on Sunday, Oct. 3, and continuing to Friday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. nightly. Jimmy Cargle will be the speaker on Sunday; Johnny Roberts will be the speaker on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and Billy Joe Butler will be the speaker on Thursday and Friday.
