Funeral services for Jimmy Perry, 79, of Donalsonville, Ga., will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville with the Rev. James Scarborough officiating.

Interment will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery with Gary Perry, Mike Perry, Allan Crum and Cody Roberts serving as active pallbearers. Military honors will be presented by members of the U.S. Navy.

Born Oct. 11, 1930, Mr. Perry died on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Perry attended Spring Creek Baptist Church and was retired from the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by a son, Alex Califf.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Faircloth Perry of Donalsonville; two daughters, Latrisa Roberts of Donalsonville and Helen Perry of Bloomington, Ind.; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
