Funeral services for Eudene Vickers Boyd, 81, of Brinson, Ga., will be held Saturday, Sept. 25, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ivey Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Taylor officiating.

Interment will follow at Mount Gilead Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with James Gilbourn, Chris Boyd, Greg Boyd, Shaun Earnest, Trent Bellflower and Spencer Dunlap serving as active pallbearers.

Born Sept. 30, 1928, near Bainbridge, Ga., Mrs. Vickers died on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Vickers was a graduate of West Bainbridge High School, a homemaker, and a member of Mount Gilead Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Herbert L. Boyd.

Survivors include her sons, Randy Boyd of Lakeland, Fla., and Sammy Boyd of Brinson; her daughters, Diane Bellflower and Brenda Boyd, both of Brinson; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
