Graveside services for Clifford L. Burns III, 51, of New Jersey, were held Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the Burns family plot with the Rev. Eldrick T. Jacobs Sr. officiating.

Born Jan. 18, 1959, in New Jersey, Mr. Burns died on Sept. 9, 2010.

Mr. Burns was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Jersey City, N.J. He was a member of the Men’s League.

Survivors include a sister, Tina M. Burns of New Jersey; a brother, Stewart E. Burns and his wife, Tamika; four aunts; an uncle; his great-uncle, Lester Burns and his wife, Vallie, of Bainbridge; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Jacobs Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
