The St. John’s Episcopal Church will have its annual Blessing of the Animals on lawn between the church and the parish hall on Sunday, Oct. 3, at 3 p.m. The Rev. June Johnson said, “Pets are such a gift from our loving Heavenly Father because they love us no matter what, will serve our needs and protect us, and remind us that play is a way of giving thanks for all that we have. Often our pets become members of our family, and help us teach our children the lessons of love and care for another.” Pictured is a furry friends being blessed during last year’s Blessing of the Animals.
