Mr. and Mrs. Steve Brock of Vada, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Eve Brock, to Marty Clayton Bloodworth Jr. of Pineview, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Brock of Vada, Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick Bearden of Cairo, and the great-granddaughter of Miss Lucille Shiver of Cairo.

Miss Brock graduated from Cairo High School in 2004 and from the University of Georgia in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science.

The future groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marty C. Bloodworth of Pineview, and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Bloodworth, Mrs. Betty Tomberlin of Abbeville, Ga., and the late Mr. Wright Tomberlin.

Mr. Bloodworth graduated from Wilcox County High School in 2003 and from the University of Georgia in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 22 at 6:30 p.m. at Gin Creek Plantation in Moultrie, Ga. All friends and family are invited.
