A memorial service for J.B. Tabb Jr. 78, of Colquitt, was held Saturday, Sept. 18, at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Arthur Hackett and Billy Tabb officiating.

Mr. Tabb died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Cairo.

Mr. Tabb was a Jehovah’s Witness and was a farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Tabb of Colquitt; one daughter, Candy Tabb Wesley of Colquitt; three sons, Dick Tabb of Roswell, Ga., and Tony Tabb and Paul Tabb, both of Colquitt; one brother, Bob Tabb of Colquitt; one sister, Nell Flatum of Center City, Minn.; four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.

The arrangements were handled by Colquitt Funeral Home Inc.
