Funeral services for Tammy Simmons, 41, of Bainbridge, Ga., were held Sunday, Sept. 19, in the chapel of Bruton Mortuary with Bishop Apostle Kevin G. Hindsman officiating.

Interment followed in Jonas Lobe Cemetery with Ms. Simmons’ nephews and friends of the family serving as active pallbearers.

Born July 14, 1969, in Bainbridge, Ms. Simmons died on Sept. 14, 2010, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.

Ms. Simmons was the youngest of five children.

Survivors include her daughter, Trinity Janae Clark of Fort Riley, Kan.; two brothers, Kerry Simmons of Atlanta, Ga., and Stanley Simmons of Bainbridge; two sisters, Lisa Davis of Fort Riley, Kan., and Carla Cheatem of Bainbridge; 13 nieces and nephews, 21 great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of family and friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
