Michael Garrett, assistant district attorney, will be the featured speaker Sunday, Sept. 19, when The Laymen Brotherhood 2nd Chance Outreach Center Inc. celebrates its third anniversary. Founded three years ago by the Rev. Adren Bivins Sr., the anniversary celebration will be held in the annex of the Bainbridge Church of God on Independent Street from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Free food and clothing will be handed out to youth while supplies last.
