CALLING THE SHOTS: Co-directors Joshua Mills and T.J. Amato flank the film’s executive producer, Steven Camp, who also appears in the role of an associate minister in the seminary scene.

Filming of “Fishers of Men” by Desert Wind Films continues to attract attention from Bainbridge residents and visitors to our town.

All of the action was in downtown Bainbridge this week, and included shots around the square, the Courthouse, an upstairs apartment on Broughton Street and the First Baptist and First Presbyterian Churches on Shotwell Street.

Next week, filming promises to be even more exciting. The filming schedule includes a high school biology class shot at a local school on Monday. On Tuesday night, popular country singer Travis Tritt is scheduled to arrive in town and remain to shoot his scenes through Friday. Tritt plays the role of Eddie Waters.

On Wednesday, the crew will move to the old Climax School, where the prom scene will be shot. Several dozen students from Grace Christian Academy will take part in that scene.
