Funeral services for Mrs. Sandra Sauls Kimbrel, 57, of Cuthbert, Ga., were held Thursday, Sept. 16 at the Arlington Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Gary Hadden officiating.
Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery with Jimmy Fallin, L.J. Fallin, Cole Odom, Keith Kimbrel, Michael Farris and Johnny McMurria acting as pallbearers.
Born Sept. 2, 1953, in Edison, Ga., Mrs. Kimbel passed away Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at her residence in Cuthbert.
Mrs. Kimbrel was the daughter of to the late William Henry Sauls and Mamie Wright Sauls. She was a member of the Arlington Baptist Church and was a retired secretary for McMurria Auto Parts in Arlington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Jerald Kimbrel Sr.; a son, Melvin Jerald Kimbrel Jr.; four sisters, Diane Sauls, Elizabeth Sauls, Janice Adams and Jurline Cook; and by two brothers Edward Sauls and Melvin Sauls.
Survivors include a daughter, Amy Kimbrel-Saccente of Ft. Gaines, Ga.; three sisters Winnis Louise Manior of Cuthbert, Johnnie Enfinger of Bainbridge and Nina Smith of Cuthbert; three brothers, Kenneth Sauls and Jimmy Sauls, both of Cuthbert, and Benny Sauls of Shellman, Ga.; two grandchildren, Melvin Tyler Kimbrel and Miranda Saccente; long-time friend, Pam Fallin and family and several loving nieces and nephews.
Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home of Blakely was in charge of the arrangements.
