Army Pv2. Tanesia L. Malone-Alexander graduated from company D, 3rd Battalion, 34th Infantry regiment basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. on Aug. 26. Included in nine weeks of training were physical fitness and basic combat skills, along with rifle marksmanship and military justice system. She is the wife of Larry Alexander Jr. of Valdosta; the daughter of Danny and Frankie Malone of Attapulgus; the granddaughter of Willie and Lucille Lewis and Christine Malone of Attapulgus and great-granddaughter of Artilla Martin, Attapulgus and Doris March of Gretna, Fla. She is a 2007 graduate of Bainbridge High School.
