A memorial service for Mrs. Sylvia Christine Wages, 66, of Bainbridge, will be held Wed., Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donna Bevels officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Born July 18, 1944, in Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Wages passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at Memorial Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Wages was a bookkeeper for Bainbridge Country Club and was of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wayne Wages.

Survivors include her son, Brad Wages of Bainbridge; her daughter, Kim Meade of Villa Rica, Ga.; and her cousins, Bill Kimsey, Cheston Kimsey, Bobbie Jean Speir and Alice Moulton.
