Cross country teams run well in Perry

Coach Mandi O’Mara’s Bainbridge High School and Middle School Bearcats and Lady Cats cross country teams turned in solid performances Saturday at the Mid-State Cross Country Meet in Perry.
The top three high school Bearcats finishers in the more than 250 runner field were Joseph Ausgood, who was 27th and completed the 3.1-mile course in 18 minutes, 58 seconds; Kelvin Coley, who was 38th in 19:10.50, and Garrett Reynolds, who was 46th in 19:24.18.
The top three Lady Cats finishers in the high school girls division were Paige Braswell, who was 23rd in 23:21.56; Amber Braswell, who was 39th in 25:56.94, and Capria Miller, who was 41st in 25:57.50.
In the middle school boys division, the top three Bearcats finishers were Brad Cox, who was 11th in 13:43.75; Bennett Enfinger, who was 14th in 13:59.14, and Brenden Green, who was 30th in 14:51.59.
The top finishers in the middle school girls division were McKenna Locke, who was 34th in 19:24.23; Allie Deal, who was 36th in 20:21.15; Ashton Rentz, who was 37th in 20:34, and McAyla Kirkland, who was 38th in 22:23.25.
