Clear and present danger

There is a clear and present danger to our way of life in southwest Georgia.

It is not only President Obama. It is the voters who entrusted him with the presidency, Reid with the Senate, Pelosi with the House and Bishop to represent the 2nd Congressional District.

Call these career politicians what you wish, but it all goes back to the voters who put them there for whatever their personal gain or political reasons.

Republican control of the House and Senate, with the support of conservative Democrats, tea party members and independent voters in the November elections can undo a lot of “Obama do!”

That’s the easy part. The hard part is restoring some political common sense and good judgment to those voters who were willing to elect a liberal Chicago community organizer as their president!

We are a product of our South Georgia schools, civic organizations and church environments. Obama is a product of his liberal law school, socialist associates and 20 years in Reverend Wright’s church environment.

Georgia can survive an Obama. We cannot survive the millions of voters who made him their president. This includes the 2nd Congressional District voters who believe Democrat Congressman Bishop best represents the spirit, character and personal values of second district voters. So far, he has been right. Will his continued support of “Obama rule” change that?

Ever wonder why so many county and district officials ran on the Democratic ticket with Bishop and Obama? Do they really share their beliefs, or is the Democratic ticket a “guarantee ticket” to ride to election? You decide.

Obama, Reid, Pelosi and Bishop believe only they are best qualified to control our money, our thinking and our lives. This we know.

What should really scare you is how many of our Democratic district and local politicians somehow agree with them and vote in lock-step to fundamentally change America to a progressive socialist America run by Obama and a huge Washington-based federal government!

Thought for the day: “When the government takes from those who work and gives it to those who don’t work, less people will work.”
