A funeral service for Albert Josey, 77, of Bainbridge, will be held Thursday, Sept. 2, at 11 a.m. at Delwood Baptist Church with the Revs. Andy Hall and Lindsay Gay officiating.

Interment will follow at Delwood Baptist Church Cemetery with Jimmy Pollock, Treavor Pollock, Ricky Smith, Mark Davis, Alan Davis and J.E. Foister serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.

Born Sept. 8, 1932, in Brinson, Ga., Mr. Josey died on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Josey served in the U. S. Army and was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Annie Murl Barber and Catherine Muliford.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Jean Pollock Josey of Bainbridge; his sons, Al Josey of Yorba Linda, Calif., Brian Josey of Garden Grove, Calif., and Wade Josey of Escondido, Calif.; his daughters, Kay Josey Wilson of Corona, Calif., and Linda Josey of Long Beach, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
