The Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce Small Business committee is accepting nominations for the 2010 Small Business of the Year Award. Nominees should be a local business that exhibits stability and growth, continuously articulates its core values, goals and mission statement, projects a positive image, contributes to the community, is a chamber member, employs fewer than 50 full-time employees, and is a for profit business. A nomination form is available from the Chamber office or on the Chamber’s Web site at www.bainbridgegachamber.com under Chamber News. Nominations should be submitted by the Sept. 3 deadline. The winner will be announced at the Chamber’s annual Membership Mingle on Oct. 21. Previous Small Business of the Year winners include: Dairy Queen, RX Drug Center, Kres Jewelers, The Headquarters, Bainbridge Pharmacy, Ivey Funeral Home and Flint Media Inc.
