James Michael “Mike” Fleming, 49, of Climax, Ga., died Aug. 8.

Born May 15, 1961, in Memphis, Tenn., Mr. Fleming died on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at his home.

Mr. Fleming was of Baptist faith and was employed with Boatright Timber Service.

Survivors include wife, Linda Mills Fleming of Climax; his step-son, John Thigpen of Panacea, Fla.; his step-daughter, Amber Forbes of Cairo, Ga.; and a daughter, Jenny Fleming of Tennessee.

Clark Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
