A great opportunity awaits the more mature life-long learner to learn a great deal about computers in three sessions at Bainbridge College Continuing Education Division. Computing for Lifelong Learners (Seniors) meets 1 to 5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Aug. 16 through 25, in Room 412 of the Continuing Education Center. Instructor Gean Hendrix will take participants on a trip down the information highway, covering computer basics, e-mail and Internet skills, how to do research, find medical news and travel options and how to check financial investments. The course includes a demonstration of spreadsheet and word processing packages. Cost for the 12 hours of instruction is $50 for an individual and $85 for a couple.
