Memorial services for Teresa Ann Hughes, 45, of Miller County, Ga., will be announced at a later date.

Born Feb. 15, 1965, in Bainbridge, Ga., Ms. Hughes died on Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, Ga.

Ms. Hughes was raised in Bainbridge. She moved to Miller County, Ga., after living most of her adult life in Huntsville, Ala. She worked as a floor supervisor at Marriott Hotels Seasons Restaurant. She loved to cook for people and loved her animals.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Hughes, and a sister, Brenda Gail Kelly.

Survivors include her mother, Betty J. Elkins Hughes of Bainbridge; two sisters, Betty Jo Howell of Bainbridge and Cindy Putnal of LaGrange, Ga.; a brother, Robert “Bobby” Hughes of Bainbridge, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
