Myrtle Gainous

Funeral services for Myrtle Owens Gainous, 87, of Bainbridge, were held Sunday, Aug. 8, in the chapel of Cox-Ware Funeral Home with the Revs. David Fell and Conrad Salter officiating.
Private interment followed in Mars Hill Cemetery.
Born Feb. 27, 1923, in Grady County, Ga., Mrs. Gainous died on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, Fla.
Mrs. Gainous was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She lived in Decatur County most all of her life and loved her animals and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, J.M. Logue and Henry Gainous, and her son, Alfred Franklin Logue.
Survivors include a son, Tommy Logue of Tallahassee; a sister, Dorothy Moore of Cairo, Ga.; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Cox-Ware Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
