Ola Howard

Funeral services for Ola Mae Howard, 95, of Jakin, Ga., were held on Tuesday, Aug. 3, at Jakin Free Will Baptist Church in Jakin with the Rev. Wayne Sheffield officiating.
Interment followed in Cedar Springs Cemetery.
Born Aug. 12, 1914, in Samson, Ala., Mrs. Howard died on Saturday, July 31, 2010, at her residence.
Mrs. Howard was a member of Jakin Free Will Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Howard Sr.; a daughter, Edna Earle Hill, and two brothers, W.C. Culpepper and Henry Culpepper.
She is survived her son, John A. “Dick” Howard of Jakin; a brother, Shelton Culpepper of Houston City, Fla.; two sisters, Doris Mims of Crawfordville, Fla., and Lobis Windham of Panama City, Fla.; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
