David F. Scott, 69, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Lourdes Hospital in Olongapo City, The Phillipines. He was cremated and his ashes were scattered in the nearby sea.

Mr. Scott was born Jan. 6, 1941, in Bainbridge, the son of the late Clinton Scott and Katie Lee Josey Scott.

He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his brothers, James Scott of Slippery Rock, Pa., Robert Scott of New Hampshire and a sister, Joyce Galpin of Bainbridge.
