Funeral services for Walter M. Blocker, 52, of Bainbridge, will be private.

Born July 10, 1958, in Bainbridge, Mr. Blocker died on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Blocker worked in the construction industry.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Jean Garnto; his mother, Eileen Blocker; his sister, Georgia Teresa Joiner; and his brother, Thomas Wayne Blocker.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy White; his daughters, Courtney Blocker Kehoe of Brunswick, Ga., and Brandy Blocker of Colquitt, Ga.; his brothers, Richard Nolan Blocker of Bainbridge and John Earl Blocker of Des Allemands, La.; his sisters, Peggy Mathews of Ellijay, Ga., Shirley Weste of Grand Isle, La., Kathy Cook of Chattahoochee, Fla., Linda McMillan and Sarah Clinton, both of Bainbridge; and several grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
