Funeral services for Cosmore Andrews Jr., 81, of Quincy, Fla., will be held Saturday, July 31, at St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church in Crawfordville, Fla., with the Rev. J.O. Caldwell officiating.
Interment will follow at the church’s cemetery with members of Mr. Andrews’ family and friends serving as active pallbearers.
Born Oct. 14, 1928, in Decatur County, Mr. Andrews died July 22, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Andrews attended public school in Decatur County. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired truck driver for Engelhard Mining in Attapulgus. He loved farming and enjoyed teaching others about it. He was an ordained deacon and active member of St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church in Crawfordville, Fla.
Survivors include his wife, Rosetta Andrews; a stepson, Dr. Ronald McCloud of Quincy, Fla.; four godchildren, Angela Pierce, Antonia Knox, Antonio Knox and Arianna Knox; a sister-in-law, two grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
