Muskogee seminar is Saturday

A seminar on Muskogee Creek history will be on Saturday, July 24, at Tama Tribal Town in Whigham, Ga., on Fred Collins Road from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be many topics presented, including history, myths and legends of the Muskogee Creek; how the Muskogee survived in this area after the Trail of Tears, and aspects of daily living. There will also be on display examples of Muskogee clothing, and demonstrations of various tools and weapons. The afternoon will include concurrent breakout sessions of native crafts.
