Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—The church will celebrate Pioneer Day on Saturday, July 24, at 10 a.m. at the Army Corps of Engineer’s Hales Landing Park beginning at 10 a.m. The public is invited for this mostly social event.
Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church—The church, located at 1810 S. West St., will have a mortgage burning ceremony on Sunday, July 25, at 11:15 a.m. The Rev. Jerome Severson is the pastor.
Bainbridge Methodist United Church—The church, located at 1513 Dothan Road, will welcome its new pastor, Wayne McDonald, on Sunday, July 25, during its morning service. Dinner will be served.
Mount Zuma M.B. Church—The church, located at 2015 Vada Hwy., will have a fashion show and penny drive on Sunday, July 25, after the morning service. The Rev. Harry J. Mitchell Sr. is the pastor.
Ford Chapel Church—The church, located on College Street in Bainbridge, will have a mission program on Sunday, July 25, at 3 p.m. Cynthia Mitchell is the speaker.
Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church—The church, located on Piney Grove Road, will hold its annual Men’s Day program on Sunday, July 25, beginning at 3 p.m. The Rev. Estella Arrington is the speaker.
Community Mission in Action—The program will honor the Rev. Adolph Noble Sr. and his wife, Sonja, on Sunday, July 25, beginning at 5 p.m. at the First Baptist Church on Webster Street. The speaker will be the Rev. Emory Virgil of Thomasville, Ga.
First Morningstar Missionary Baptist Church—The church, located on Ten Mile Still Road, will hold its annual revival beginning Monday, July 26, through Friday, July 30, at 7 p.m. The Rev. Frank DeYounks will be the speaker.
Magnolia M.B. Church—The church, located just to the left of the Decatur County Fairgrounds, will hold its annual revival on July 26-30, at 7 p.m. daily. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Jerome Severson. The pastor is Belinda W. Corley.
St. John A.M.E., Stewart Temple A.M.E. Church and Second Elizabeth M.B. Church—The church families will host its annual summer revival July 26-30 beginning at 7 p.m. The host church for this year is the St. John A.M.E. Church, located in the St. John Community, Quincy.
Popular Springs Missionary Baptist Church—The church will hold its annual revival July 28-30 at 7 p.m. daily. The Rev. Jermaine Simmons will be the speaker.
Climax Baptist Church—The church, located at 204 W. Lee St. in Climax, will host a benefit sing for the Kaye Rich Barber family on Saturday, July 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. Featured groups will be The Disciples, Living Water, Road Nine, Greg Marshall, and April and Tommy McNair.
Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church—The church will mark the church’s 71st anniversary and its pastor’s 30 anniversary beginning on Sunday, Aug. 1, at 3:30 p.m.
Disciples of Jesus—The church, located at 1630 Bethel Road in Bainbridge, will mark its ushers’ anniversary from Aug. 5-7. On Aug. 5, the program will begin at 7 p.m.; on Aug. 6, it will begin at 6:30 p.m., and Aug. 7, it will begin at 11:30 a.m. Pastors Melba Andrews and Jacqueline Porter will be the speakers.

Pine Forest Baptist Church—The church, located at 104 Pine Forest Road, will host the Lighthouse Girls during its Sunday, Sept. 12, 11 a.m. services.
