Billy Bramblett

A graveside funeral service for Billy E. Bramblett, 78, of Bainbridge, will be held Saturday, July 24, at 11 a.m. at Plowman Cemetery in Apison, Tenn., with Dr. Leroy C. Spinks officiating.
Born Dec. 6, 1931 in Apison, Tenn., Mr. Bramblett died on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.
Mr. Bramblett was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean War. Mr. Bramblett was a graduate of Ooltewah High School, Class of 1951, and was a retired plant manager for Union Oil Company’s Southeast Terminal in Bainbridge. He enjoyed his family and working in the yard. He was a member of Apison Baptist Church and the American Legion Post 62.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Irene Bennett Bramblett of Bainbridge; his daughters, Laura Hawk of Bainbridge, Linda Scoggins of Cleveland, Tenn., Lorine Dean of Chatsworth, Ga., and Lisa Boyd of Vada, Ga.; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
