Funeral services for Robert Edwin Tully, 74, of Colquitt, Ga., were held Sunday, July 18, at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church with the Revs. Kent Barwick and Benjamin Miller officiating.

Interment followed at Eternal Rest Memorial Gardens.

Born Jan. 28, 1936, in Colquitt, Mr. Tully died Friday, July 16, 2010, at Donalsonville Hospital.

Mr. Tully was a member of Colquitt Free Will Baptist where he served as head deacon for many years. He retired from the Department of Transportation.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Eugene Tully and Robert Edwin Tully Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Johnson Tully of Colquitt, Ga.; a son, Steve Tully of Montgomery, Ala.; a granddaughter, Keisha Tully of Abbeville, Ala.; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Tully of Colquitt, Ga.; a sister, Elaine Heard of Bainbridge; two nieces and one nephew.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
