Lajoy Hagler

Funeral services for Walker Lajoy Hagler, 65, of Donalsonville, were held Monday, July 19, in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with the Revs. James Scarborough and Richard Trawick officiating.
Interment followed in Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, Ga., with Cody Houston, Matthew Houston, Walker Lajoy Hagler II, Joseph Moore, Trent Harrison, Greg Hutcheson and Richard Duke serving as active pallbearers.
Born in Barbour County, Ala., on Jan. 2, 1945, Mr. Hagler died on Saturday, July 17, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Hagler was a general contractor, but his favorite work was outside in the garden. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Harrison Hagler of Donalsonville; his mother, Juanita Hagler of Donalsonville; a son, Michael Hagler of Donalsonville; two daughters, Ramona Houston of Donalsonville and Sandy Hutcheson of Dothan, Ala.; a brother, Pat Hagler of Woodstock, Ga.; a sister, Shirley Keaton of Sylvester, Ga.; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville was in charge of arrangements.
