Applications being accepted for quota hunts

Applications are now being accepted for quota hunts in Georgia, including at the Silver Lake Wildlife Management Area.

Alligator, deer (including State Parks), waterfowl and turkey quota hunts applications must be submitted by setting up a personal account at www.gohuntgeorgia.com. As a last resort, you may contact your Regional Game Management Office to apply. Hunters should make sure they have all their personal information available, and that of all party members (names, address, phone numbers, birthdates, social security numbers, etc.) before they apply.

The application deadlines for quota hunts administered by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division is as follows: Alligators, July 31; WMA Deer, Sept. 1; WMA Turkey, February 15; WMA Waterfowl Oct. 15; and State Park Deer, Sept. 1.
