Ted Tomlinson

Funeral services for Ted Tomlinson, 44, of Bainbridge, were held Sunday, July 18, at Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Revs. Danny Vuncannon, Laddie DeRocco and David Sorrow officiating.
Interment followed in Mount Olive Cemetery with Greg Rentz, Eddie Alday, Joshua Godwin and Dale Ellis serving as active pallbearers.
Born Oct. 15, 1965, in Decatur County, Mr. Tomlinson died on Thursday, July 15, 2010, in Madison, Fla.
Mr. Tomlinson loved driving his semi truck and loved talking about the Lord, he was always wanting to help others. He also enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. He was a member of West Bainbridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, James and Sue Tomlinson of Donalsonville and Inez Tomlinson of Bainbridge; his wife of four years, Donna Ellis Tomlinson of Bainbridge; two daughters, Penny Godwin of Whigham, Ga., and Candiss Faircloth of Greenough, Ga.; two brothers, Nathan Tomlinson of Hogansville, Ga., and Doug Tomlinson of Bainbridge; four grandchildren and his long-time friend, the Rev. David Sorrow.
Cox-Ware Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
