Funeral services for Helen S. Wells, 82, of Bainbridge, will be held Wednesday, July 14, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Ivey Funeral Home with the Rev. Donna Bevels officiating.

Interment will follow at Cool Springs Cemetery.

Born May 17, 1928, in Milton, Fla., Mrs. Wells died on Monday, July 12, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Wells was a homemaker and a member of First Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, R.E. Wells Jr., of Bainbridge; her daughters, Joanna Dean of Hardaway, Fla., Janie Brown of Bainbridge and Maxine Richards of Sneads, Fla.; her brothers, Rufus Simmons of Jamesville, N.C., Robert Simmons of Milton, Fla., and Roy Simmons of Milton, Fla.; her sister, Kathleen Couch of Detroit, Mich.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
