Funeral services for Annie Clyde Cox Carroll, 90, of Iron City, Ga., were held Tuesday, July 13, in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, Ga., with the Rev. Darrell Newberry officiating.
Interment followed in the New Enterprise Cemetery in Iron City with Kenneth Spooner, Earl Daniels, James Carroll, Lue Hendrickson, Brandon Hendrickson and Steven Wiggins serving as active pallbearers.
Born Sept. 28, 1919, in Clio, Ala., Mrs. Carroll died on Sunday, July 11, 2010, at her residence.
Mrs. Carroll was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Hansel Carroll of Iron City; two sons, Roy Carroll of Sylvester, Ga., and Doyle Carroll of Iron City; two daughters, Annette Kirkland of Tallahassee, Fla., and Barbara Ann Wiggins of Marianna, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
