Bainbridge-Decatur County YMCA Summer Day Camp provides 5-to-12-year-old youngsters with opportunities to broaden their horizons through participation in many activities.

Camp sessions are Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Two activities, which they participate in daily, are sports and games and swimming.

They also do arts and crafts, watch movies, have free play time and go on field trips.

Their most recent field trip was to a local pond where they caught catfish and bream. Surprisingly one camper even caught a turtle.
