Funeral services for Ruby Doris Allen Cumbie, 76, of Tallahassee, Fla., formerly of Bainbridge, will be held Saturday, July 10, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Cox-Ware Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Oak City Cemetery.

Born Aug. 26, 1933, in Decatur County, Ga., Mrs. Cumbie died on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at Capitol Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee.

Mrs. Cumbie lived in Decatur County until 1955 and had lived in Tallahassee, Fla., for the past 35 years. Mrs. Cumbie was a homemaker and attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Tallahassee.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, J.V. Allen, Buford Allen and Robert Allen, and three sisters, Emma Griner, Grace Dutton-Stebbins and Rosalee Kozlowski.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, B.T. Cumbie of Tallahassee; and her brother, Buck Allen of Quincy, Fla.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
