June 30, 2010, BAINBRIDGE, GA – The River Blue Band featuring Roger Haire and Sunny Gross will be performing at the Earle May Boat Basin for the City’s Annual July 4 Celebration on Sunday. After learning that the city was only planning fireworks for this year’s festivities, the group approached city officials and volunteered to play for free at the celebration.

The band, which plays southern rock music, will take the stage at 8:00 p.m. and will perform for an hour and a half. The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m., with Jared Dowdy singing the National Anthem and patriotic music playing while patrons watch the fireworks display.

The boat ramps at the Boat Basin will be open all day on Sunday, so be sure to get out and enjoy the water before heading back to the Boat Basin for great music and a fabulous fireworks display!
