Local GSU students honored

Georgia Southern University recently recognized Ava J. Conger and Steven K. Todd, both of Bainbridge, for excellence in academics on the 2010 Spring semester president’s list. To be eligible for the president’s list, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester. GSU recently recognized Emily M. Whitaker, Bainbridge; Grayson D. Flowers, Bainbridge; Ian A. Rentz, Bainbridge; Kayla D. Hawkins, Brinson; Kelsey L. Gordon, Bainbridge; Mallary J. Taylor, Attapulgus; Merrie A. Lumpkin, Bainbridge; Sarah E. Flowers, Bainbridge, and Valarie S. Burke, Bainbridge, for excellence in academics on the 2010 Spring Semester dean’s list. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must have at least a 3.50 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.
